Roger

Roger was rescued and brought to Animals In Distress in July 2024. Looking for help, he crawled up onto a woman’s porch. The kind woman brought him to the shelter.

At the time, Roger weighed only 4 pounds. He was bloody both from a hole in his right cheek that went completely through into his mouth and also from large wounds on his tail. In the back of his mouth he also had a large mass caused by an infection. He was so weak he was unable to stand. He was found to have a blood clotting issue causing continual bleeding. We feared losing him on several occasions.

These photos are of Rodger when he came into the shelter.  It is obvious life had been challenging for him during his life lived prior to coming to Animals In Distress.

This is Roger today. We’ve found him to be the sweetest cat ever!! He regularly demonstrates his gratitude for having been rescued by those at Animals In Distress.
