Cats for Adoption

Alice came in as a pregnant mom and had her kittens at the shelter. She is a little apprehensive at first but will be your best friend once she knows and trusts you. She is a very quiet girl and would be happy in a home by herself or with other cats. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Alistair is a handsome buff and white cat who is a really big boy. He is shy at first but friendly once he gets to know you. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Allison is a nice, quiet girl. She is a little shy but so friendly once she warms up. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. 

Amiga is a pretty orange and white cat. She is a nice girl but is selective with the cats she likes. She would have no problem being an only cat in the household. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Annabelle craves attention. She likes to ride on shoulders and will nip when she wants more attention so make sure to pet her a lot! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Asta is a somewhat chunky girl that loves chin scratches. She can be found rolling around on the top of a cat tree in her room and would love to have one in her new home. She has pretty calico markings and is spayed and up to date on vaccines. 

Bamboo is a friendly boy to people but doesn’t necessarily like all of the other felines in his room. He would be happiest as an only cat where he can get all of the attention. He likes to be held and would make a great companion. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Barbara Streisand can be found at the window in her room making a soft spot in her bed. She is a friendly, quiet girl. She is quiet and apparently only sings when no one is around. Barbara is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Bert has become a pretty friendly guy after coming in as a shy cat. He hopes someone will look past his sometimes timid demeanor and give him the home that he deserves. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Birdie is a sweetheart of a cat who doesn’t let the fact that she’s blind slow her down one bit. She runs and plays with her toys and jumps and climbs like any “normal” cat. She purrs and chirps like a bird. She is FIV positive so would need to go to a home with another FIV positive cat or be the one and only feline. Everyone that meets her loves her and we’re sure that you will, too! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Brother came in as a young kitten with Trooper. He had a severe eye infection and nearly lost his sight. Now he has great vision but will always have a weepy right eye. He is a little more shy than his brother but a sweet cat. The two must be adopted together. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

When Chappie came in, he couldn’t even stand. He has cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological disorder that affects balance. With much hard work, he has learned to walk and gets around just fine, though he still falls once in a while. He is on a special diet for digestion and will need to stay on that food. Chappie is a nice cat who likes to be petted but will nip when he gets excited. He should have a cat savvy owner who can deal with his personality and medical issues. Clara is a petite, feisty girl who likes to play with her toys and hang out with the cats in her room. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. 

Clifford is an energetic boy that will keep you entertained. He seems to like the company of the other cats in the room. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Cody is a handsome boy who looks for attention. He loves people and is a favorite of all who meet him. Sadly, he is often overlooked because of his age. He can be a little assertive so might do best as an only cat. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Corona, named after the beer and NOT the virus, looks a lot like her sister, Pauli. She is also a little standoffish at first but warms up to those she knows. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Dawn can be found in one of the beds in her room and will roll and roll when you pet her. She is a very sweet girl and she is FeLV positive. She would need to be an only cat or be adopted with another FeLV positive cat. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Diamond is a sweet, playful kitten who came to our shelter with his siblings (Topaz, Onyx, Emerald and Sparkle) and would love to go home with one or more of them. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Duke is a handsome tuxedo boy who is on anti-anxiety medication because he is not fond of a lot of cats. He could most likely come off of this medicine if he were the one and only cat. He is also on a urinary health diet and will need to remain on this food. He loves people and seeks out attention and would be better in a home than in the shelter environment. Diamond is a sweet, playful kitten who came to our shelter with his siblings (Topaz, Onyx, Diamond and Sparkle) and would love to go home with one or more of them. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Emmy Lou came to the shelter pregnant and gave birth to several kittens. Jessie, her only living kitten, is at the shelter, too. Emmy is a nice, quiet girl that doesn’t bother with the other cats in her room. She loves her naps and will most likely be a lap cat when she finds a home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. 

Essie is a petite cat with big eyes. She can often be seen looking out the window at everyone in the hallway passing by. She can be sweet but has a tendency to be nippy so will do best in a home without small children. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Ginger is a friendly boy who came to us in bad shape. After several surgeries, he is happy and healthy and ready to go home! He can be shy but also loves head scratches. Ginger is definitely worth a look! He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

When Goblin came, he was painted bright pink. Underneath he was a pretty white and gray and a really nice cat. He would be a good couch potato as he can usually be seen in a cat bed in his room. He likes other cats but would be okay on his own, too. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Goldie is a beautiful tortie. She is a sweet, plus-size girl who asks for pets from anyone she meets. She can be a little bossy and would like to be the only cat in someone’s home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Gucci came to us very pregnant but unfortunately lost all of her babies after giving birth. She likes to greet anyone that enters her room to get pets and head scratches but is also happy observing from afar. Gucci is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

If you’re looking for a chatty cat, Guy is your guy! He talks a lot and likes attention. When the conversation ends, he’ll sit with you and be your constant companion. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Jazzie is a kitten with endless energy. She was found as an only kitten but needs a playmate wherever she goes. She is an acrobat who likes to swing from sheets or blankets. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Jefferson came in with his Mom and litter of kittens. He is a nice boy but prefers hanging out beside you, not on your lap. He likes being petted and would probably be a good couch potato. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Jessie was born here at the shelter to her Mom, Emmy Lou. She has lots of energy and needs another cat to play with. Jessie is bold and likes to be in charge but is lovable in return. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines

Juno was found as a small kitten in a cornfield. She is friendly and very inquisitive and enjoys company. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Kai came to live with us as an kitten with an injured foot. It is believed that an animal or bird of prey tried to carry her off. She lost a toe but otherwise healed nicely. She loves other cats and likes to play. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Kat can be found front and center when her door opens to vie for all the attention. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Leonard is the last of his litter here at the shelter. He is a very shy boy and will take someone with patience to get him to warm up. He is neutered and up to date in vaccines.

Liam came to us as a small, frightened kitten that hid from visitors. It took some time but he has become a friendly boy that can be found in a cat bed waiting for head scratches. If he really likes you, he’ll let you rub his belly. We hope his sister, Lilac, will learn from him and come out of her shell, too. They are the offspring of Mike who lives in the same room. Liam is neutered and up to date on vaccines. 

Lilac is a gorgeous calico but is leery of people. Her brother, Liam, has really come out of his shell and we hope that she will, too, with the love and patience of just the right person. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Martin is a large cat who is rather quiet but friendly. He is on a special diet for urinary health and would need to remain on this food. He is difficult to get to the vet so would need to go home with someone who has experience handling cats. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Named after her favorite word, Meow Meow can often be found rolling around on her bed or on the cat tree. She is spayed and up to date in vaccines.

Mick and his siblings, Pauli and Corona, arrived at AID as kittens and are looking for a home. He has lots of young cat energy and seems to like the other cats in his room. He will need lots of toys! He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

This is Midler. He is the last of his litter remaining at the shelter and doesn’t understand why. He loves to climb the cat tree and is first to greet you in his room. He is neutered and up to date in vaccines.

Muffin is a feisty girl who doesn’t let the fact that she can’t see slow her down. She can get a little rambunctious so would be best in a home without young children. She loves her toys and would like to be your playmate. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Nicholas is a friendly boy who looks for attention when anyone visits. He loves pets and scratches and is an all around loveable cat. He is on a special diet for GI health and will need to remain on this food but that’s no big deal. He deserves a look. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Onyx is a sweet, playful kitten who came to our shelter with his siblings (Topaz, Diamond, Emerald and Sparkle) and would love to go home with one or more of them. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Pauli is part of a litter that includes brother Mick and sister Corona. She is a little shy at first but warms up. She likes people and other cats. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Petunia is one of a litter of six born at the shelter. She and two of her sisters remain. She is a typical kitten; she’s curious and loves to play. She would like to have a playmate in her forever home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Pistachio can be a little shy but will eventually come around and look for attention. She likes to lay on the cat tree so would like to have one in her home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Poppy is the last of her litter at the shelter. She can be the sweetest girl one minute and the next be very aloof and independent. She is a beautiful pastel tortie who will make a great family member for someone who understands her attitude. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

RC was part of an outdoor colony. A family noticed he was having trouble keeping up with the other cats. He was bobbing his head and walking in circles. He was diagnosed with mild cerebellar hypoplasia but has learned to live life to the fullest. He can climb the cat tree and do everything that a “normal” cat can do. Here’s Simon. He is very friendly and loves attention and curling up on a lap. He receives daily nebulizer medication for a chronic nasal infection but is very good at taking it. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Smidgen came in as a small kitten and is ready for a home of her own. She has lots of kitten energy and may do well with another cat so she has a playmate. She has blocked tear ducts so her eyes drain a little but she is adorable, weepy eyes and all! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Twinkle came in as a kitten and has never quite overcome her shyness. She has come a long way and will roll and be petted once she knows you. She hopes that someone will adopt her and help her to come even further out of her shell. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Walsh was adopted as a kitten and returned when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a friendly cat who likes to look out the window in her room into the hall and watch everyone go by. She looks forward to her canned food. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Willow came to the shelter as a young Mom. All of her kittens have since been adopted yet she remains. She is a beautiful long-haired girl that requires grooming as she isn’t too happy being brushed. She is a friendly cat but can be stand offish when she has had enough attention. She would love a window to look out of during her golden years. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Winter is a unique kitten, constantly on the move. She isn’t snuggly and doesn’t like to be picked up. She might try to sneak out the front door when you open it. We’re hoping an experienced cat person can modify some of her behaviors and bring out the sweet kitten inside. She loves toys and is okay with most of the cats in her room.
