Cat Adoption Process

We’ve changed our cat adoption process to accommodate the pandemic.

  1. Complete the application. Once you submit it, it will be sent to our Placement Committee.
  2. Please contact your veterinarian and give permission to give us vet history of current and past pets.
  3. Animals in Distress will process the application and complete vet and landlord checks.
  4. Once approved, Animals in Distress will work with you to schedule an appointment.
  5. The adoption donation for a cat is $150.
