  • Steve was trapped on rural farmland and brought to AID. It has taken some time for him to learn to trust people. He is now accepting human attention and has a safe, warm home at AID. Steve would do better in a home without children (or with older children) until he builds more trust in humans. Steve is neutered and up to date on shots.

Stinker

  • Stinker is a typical tom cat and likes being the center of attention. He does well with other cats who don’t mind if he is in charge. He gets along well with people too. Stinker is neutered and up to date on shots.

Stubbs

  • Stubbs is a shy cat who was trapped as a stray. She was named Stubbs because she has a short tail, about 3 inches long. She is somewhat feral and in need of socialization but gets along well with other cats. Stubbs is spayed and up to date on shots.

Sunset

  • Sunset was found as a kitten, undernourished and with an eye infection. His fur had an orange/brown tint (that’s how he got his name) from being undernourished. He outgrew the orange tint and the eye infection was treated. His eye still has a milky coloring but there are no longer any eye issues. Sunset is neutered and up to date on shots.

Tabu

  • Tabu is wide-eyed and curious but not very friendly (unless you have food or treats). She came to Animals In Distress because her owner’s landlord would only allow declawed cats and they refused to declaw her. Tabu would do better in a home without children because she likes to swat if you give her too much attention. Tabu is spayed and up to date on shots.

Temple

  • Temple is a shy girl who takes a while to trust you. But in time, she will be your friend. Temple arrived at AID with two tiny kittens – both were adopted. Temple is spayed and up to date on shots.

Tenderheart

  • Tenderheart likes being involved in whatever you are doing. He can play a bit rough at times so he would do better in a home with older children. His sister Funshine is also available for adoption. Tenderheart is neutered and up to date on shots.

Texas

  • Texas is a big friendly guy. He is FIV+ so he would need to be an only cat, or could live in a home with other FIV+ cats. Texas is neutered and up to date on shots.
