  • AJ is full of energy and loves to play. He plays rough sometimes so he might do better in a home without children, or with older children. AJ is neutered and up to date on shots.

Alan

  • Alan is a shy until he gains your trust. His brother, Jackson, and sister, Lynn, are also available for adoption. Alan requires a special diet and medication due to hypercalcemia. Alan is neutered and up to date on shots.

  • Art is shy around people but gets along well with other cats. Occasionally his asthma acts up and requires some medication but that hasn’t happened too often during his time at the shelter. Art was trapped as a stray so we don’t know much about his past but he’s safe and warm now here at Animals In Distress. Art is neutered and up to date on shots.

  • Ashley is a sweet shy cat who enjoys human attention and brushing. When she arrived at AID, as a small kitten, her left eye was severely infected and eventually had to be removed. Ashley is spayed and up to date on shots.

  • Autumn is FIV+ but that hasn’t stopped her from leading a happy life at AID. Autumn was trapped as a small kitten. She is shy but likes attention. Autumn is spayed and up to date on shots.

  • Ava is quite a spunky girl. As a kitten, she was passed by several times because of her feisty attitude but she has settled down a bit now that she is older. She likes affection but can often get nippy or swat after getting too much love. Ava is spayed and up to date on shots.

  • Baby’s big beautiful eyes immediately catch your attention. Baby and her feline friend Tinkerbell were abandoned together. She is affectionate but sometimes swats a bit when the attention stops so she might be better in a home with older children. Baby prefers Fancy Feast food. Baby is spayed and up to date on shots.

Barbra Streisand

  • Barbra Streisand was one of a litter of four girls that we nicknamed “The Singing Sisters.” The kittens were found abandoned in a cardbox. Her sisters (Donna Summer, Diana Ross and Aretha Franklin) have all been adopted. Barbra Streisand is playful and friendly and is always at the window of her room at feeding time, singing for her supper. Barbra Streisand is spayed and up to date on shots.

  • Betty came to Animals In Distress with a litter of kittens. They were all adopted but she is still with us because she isn’t very “people-friendly.” She does well with other cats and has many feline friends in our room of feral cats. Betty is spayed and up to date on shots.
